Evaluation

ACFF Australia/New Zealand – Community Grant Recipients

As part of the global collaborative action, Colgate Palmolive is proudly supporting ACFF Community Grants in Australia and New Zealand.

Each year a total of $50,000 is granted to recipients to undertake projects that aim to stop caries now and into the future.

The 2015 ACFF grant recipients and projects are:

  • Dr Haiping Tan – The University of Adelaide
    "Building a caries free community for the elderly"
  • Prof Helen Skouteris and Dr Merrilyn Hooley - Deakin University
    "Dental caries prevention and treatment for children in out of home care"
  • Ms Susanne Sofronoff and Dr Andrea de Silva - Dental Health Services Victoria
    "Developing a toolkit to integrate toothbrushing into school breakfast programs"
  • Dr Melanie Hayes – The University of Melbourne
    "Dietary analysis and nutritional counselling for caries prevention in community dental practice"

  • Dr Virginia Dickson-Swift, Professor Mark Gussy, Professor Amanda Kenny &
    Stacey Bracksley-O’Grady - La Trobe Rural Health School, Bendigo, VIC
    "Oral health knowledge and professional practices of paediatricians"
  • Dr Michael Smith - Barwon Health, Newcomb, VIC
    "Assessing the barriers for improvement to oral health for Colac-Otway adolescents"
  • Dr Melanie Hayes – The University of Melbourne
